We had a glorious autumn prairie day. It was cloudy when we started out, but cleared off and the sun came out. I took Ande up to Waskesiu to see the national park and have lunch with some of our friends. It was a blast!
Oh, reminder to myself – post a pic of the GORGEOUS green silk butterfly blouse the most-talented Ande made for my birthday gift!
We had a great lunch, walked around the (mostly deserted) townsite, then we did a little driving tour before heading back to the city via the scenic route.
So tonight we’re having steak and asparagus, and we’ll take the poopers for a walk, do some knitting and relaxing. We have a few things on the agenda for tomorrow as well.
In other news, I finished Apollo’s sweater the other night but haven’t had an opportunity for a proper photo shoot, but it fits him perfectly:
I’ll get better pics tomorrow out in the yard. For now, I’m going to post this, then get my knitting out and pass the laptop over to Ande.
