I picked up this book at Winners a while back. I flipped through it, but didn’t look at it with a view to trying some of the recipes. But then I did. So I made these. The recipe is called “chocolate fudge brownies” but they are shaped and baked as cookies.
I ramped up my google-fu and found the recipe online for you here. I didn’t use self-rising flour; instead I used the same amount of regular flour, plus 3/4 tsp baking powder and 1/4 tsp salt. I used Bakers bittersweet baking chocolate and Hersheys Special Dark chocolate chips. The results were delicious.
I was able to bake all 32 of them on one large baking sheet. The recipe says they may be stored in an airtight container for up to two days. Yeah, they’ll be lucky if they make 24 hours, never mind 48!
