Because it’s not spring in Saskatchewan without snow, today we’re getting some. It’s still above freezing, so the flakes are disappearing once they hit the ground.
I espied two very ripe bananas in the kitchen yesterday, so I whipped up a batch of these little banana cakes. Sooo good. It made 12 muffins and one little mini-loaf. I have a hard time with “banana bread” because it always ends up with a gooey channel in the top while the rest of it is done. This recipe has been awesome every time. Yesterday I set aside the sockhead hat (who needs a toque at the end of April?! Ha!) and picked up the socks to work on. The colourway 5208 is really nice and the yarn has a nice soft halo. I’ve always been pleased with Meilenweit.
